Dr Tom Hart is an ecologist specialising in behavioural landscape ecology, particularly in the context of environmental change. His work spans multiple disciplines, from population studies and conservation genetics to citizen science and conservation technology. He uses these tools to advance fundamental ecology and apply insights to changing environments and edge-of-range zones. Tom teaches on the Animal Biology and Conservation BSc, the Conservation Ecology MSc, and various postgraduate courses, with teaching interests covering ecology, conservation, marine ecology, behaviour, and statistics.
