Monitoring Seals to Understand Ocean Change
Studying Seals as Sentinels of Ecosystem Health
Seal Watch uses drone surveys and time-lapse cameras to study seals in remote regions year-round. By tagging seals in images, you help estimate population sizes, monitor breeding patterns, and investigate causes of pup mortality. As top predators and ecosystem sentinels, changes in seal populations offer insights into ocean health and climate change. Together, we’re building evidence to protect seals and their habitats through better conservation strategies.
